Simple Architecture and Intuitive Design
With todays complex work environments adding more devices and software to an existing process can be detrimental to an efficient workflow. In fact, it can make things more complex or add additional steps to the existing process. To bridge the process-gap we discovered within our industry, we looked for ways to automate and simply our users’ workflow, as they try to maintain and repair equipment in a data center while preventing undesirable events from happening such as power outages, excessive utilities consumption, and data loss. After several discussions with product managers and executives I was able to come up with an integrated, intuitive architecture, and simple design. The look and feel of the app proved to be not only effective but most importantly almost invisible to the user.
